Our Mission

The Youth Development Program equips underserved students with the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to excel. Through individualized support, meaningful relationships, and educational resources, we work to uplift youth and build stronger, healthier communities.

The Need

Louisiana’s student readiness scores show an urgent need for intervention. In low-income communities, students face additional barriers:

  • 54% of students are ready for Kindergarten

  • 56% of 3rd graders are prepared for 4th grade

  • 44% of 8th graders are on track for 9th grade
